I grew up experiencing financial difficulty as I spent my childhood in South Korea, England and New Jersey. I graduated with a degree in history with school loans from the University of Chicago and made some stupid decisions buying things I couldn't afford before starting my first job as a history teacher. Later on, I completed my Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary without incurring any additional debt by taking on two part-time jobs while studying full-time.
I have been serving as a pastor in Bergen County, New Jersey since 1999 and have been doing financial counseling as an avid evangelist of financial stewardship and everything Dave Ramsey since 2008.
